Gardeners' World Compilations 2025

Gardeners' World 2025 returns with Monty Don welcoming us to the first of four Gardeners' World Compilations 2025

The first programme was shown on Friday 14 February 2025 on BBC2 and repeated in the Saturday morning Gardening slot and is also available on the BBC iplayer.

This compilation series is being shown later than previous years due to Monty new series Monty Don's British Gardens being shown.

The return of Gardeners' World for these pre Spring compilations brings a welcome treat on a Winters night at a time when we are all keen to get cracking on the new seasons gardening.

The programme is a compilation of previous garden visits from last year, filmed throughout the gardening year, whether it is to look at certain plants or flowers or meet one of the Gardeners.

Monty is looking back over the last year to see the changes he has made to the Cottage garden and there is a Summer time visit to a Candelabra Primula collection by Frances Tophill at Newby Hall.

There are Historic gardens, Cacti, Bonsai and Herbaceous Borders, Rock Stars gardens, some familiar gardens from Monty recent programme, Wildlife friendly gardens all featuring our favourite Gardeners' World Gardeners.

Monty takes on a new project of a new seating area, an important part of any garden where you can sit and admire your hard work or have a cheeky coffee break.

This programme although made up mostly of repeats is a welcome break from lack of gardening programmes during the Winter.

Friday nights seem to be 'Monty nights' with Gardeners' World running throughout the Spring well into Autumn, then Gardeners' World Winter Special followed by the Complication specials going into February.

A few weeks after that it is March and we start the new growing series back with Monty at Long Meadow and Spring would have sprung!
