Jason Williams AKA 'The Cloud Gardener' is a Social Media Gardener, Award winning Garden Designer, Balcony and small space Gardener, Horticulturist, and one of the new Garden Club Members on Alan Titchmarsh's Gardening Club.
Jason used to garden as a child with his grandmother but it was not until his job in hospitality was put on hold with the Covid-19 Pandemic that his career path took a major change.
In 2020 Jason had just moved to his new home, an Apartment, on the 18th floor in Manchester, then the Covid pandemic hit. He then sought outside space on his balcony and before long it became his oasis
He then shared his journey on Social Media to green up his space not only to attract wild life but also for his own Mental Health and became 'The Cloud Gardener'!
In 2022 he won Social Media Communicator of the year at the Garden Media Guild Awards.
Jason Williams won a Silver Gilt for his replication of his own Balcony at the RHS Chelsea flower show for The Cirrus Garden. He has also exhibited at RHS Tatton Flower show including a unique feature garden, Cloudy Alley based on a real alley project in Manchester.
In 2024 Jason Williams became the new Small Garden expert Garden Club Member on Alan Titchmarsh new Gardening Programme Alan Titchmarsh's Gardening Club which was first aired on Monday 4 March at 2 PM.
As well as Alan it also has Horticulturist David Domoney, Community Gardener Tayshan Hayden-Smith, Horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith , House Plant Expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones , Organic Gardener Anna Greenland and Lucy Willcox Garden Designer.
Fellow Garden Club Members include Danni Gallacher Permaculturist & Forager, Ramona Jones Cottage Gardener and Alex Smith.
Jason Williams has written for Gardeners' World Magazine and also will be appearing at Gardeners' World Live 2024.
Jason actively supports Mental Health Projects through the benefits of gardening on peoples Mental Health and hold regular Plant and seed sales as well as seed swaps through his Website and Social Media.
Jason Williams is an Ambassador for Thrive The Society for Horticultural Therapy, a charity that uses gardening to change lives.
