Diana Yates is a Gardener and the new presenter of Beechgrove Garden 2023 after previously appearing on the series Beechgrove Gardens in Winter.
Diana Yates spent 10 years living and working in South Africa.
She returned to the united Kingdom in 2017, with her family and then bought her current home Greenfields.
The 18th-century listed former manse is in West Linton on the Scottish Borders and has 2 acres of land for her fruit and vegetable garden.
Diana Yates started on Beechgrove in 2021 as a Beechgrower from her garden in West Linton on the Scottish Borders and showed us the therapeutic side to gardening as well as her vegetable garden.
Diana returned in Beechgrove 2022 as a guest presenter before joining the team on Beechgrove Gardens in Winter.
Diana Yates joins the 2023 line up of presenters including the longest serving presenter Carole Baxter as well as George Anderson, Brian Cunningham, Kirsty Wilson, Calum Clunie and fellow newcomers Lizzie Schofield & Head Gardener / Presenter Scott Smith.
BBC Scotland Flagship gardening programme Beechgrove returned to our screens on Thursday 06 April 2023 in Scotland and on BBC2 on Friday 07 April 2023.
Diana has written her first Gardening book and it is due to be published on 11 May 2023.
It is all about her gardening at her home and is titled, Growing at Greenfields: A seasonal guide to growing, eating and creating from a beautiful Scottish garden.
Diana Yates lives with her family and also runs a successful business making bespoke curtains, blinds and cushions.
