Chris grew up in Tavistock, Devon surrounded by countryside and his mum was a keen gardener and his step father was a Forrester.
His first job as a teenager was at a local hotel working in the garden and became more interested in gardening from the Head Gardeners there.
Chris attended The Cornwall College Group and studied Countryside and Wildlife Management before attending Sparsholt College Hampshire where he graduated with a BSc (Hons) Garden Design Upper Second Class.
Chris has been working as a landscape Garden Designer for more than 10 years and worked for several Garden Design Companies before starting his own in 2019 Greenbook Landscape Design (currently unavailable)
Chris Hull joins the Garden Design Team on Garden Rescue in Series 7 which is first shown on Monday 09 May 2022 on BBC1 in an afternoon slot.
Chris first appearance is in Episode 4 which is shown on 12 May 2022 when he design 50's inspired fairy garden!
He is joining long time Designer Charlie Dimmock who has been on the programme since 2016 and Designer Lee Burkhill aka the Ninja Gardener who joined Garden Rescue in 2021 for Series 6.
The last Designer is also new for this series and it is Flo Headlam.
The previous Garden Designers Arit Anderson and The Rich Brothers Harry & David both left in Series 6.
Chris Hull Garden for RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 with Sid Hill which is for Bowel Research UK and called The Microbiome Garden won a Gold Medal.
Chris in 2023 got married to Zoe who is an interior Designer and they are based in Bath
